Blueair's 3-Stage Progressive Filters have three layers composed of millions of ultra thin fibers. The first layer captures pollen and dust, and the second and third layers capture smaller particles like exhaust and bacteria.
Blueair filters are made of non-toxic polypropylene. This filter fiber is waterproof and thus bacteria, virus, and mold-resistant - eliminating the need for harsh chemical additives and washes. After their service life, a Blueair filter is 100% biodegradable.
